|I bought a mugo pine about a month ago and used the pine lovers mix to put with the dirt in the hole it's planted in. It seems to be yellowing around the bottom edges by the ground. Is it dying? Should I do something?

|It's difficult to diagnose without seeing the plant, but it sounds as though your mugo pine is getting too much water. If the soil remains too wet due to poor drainage or frequent applications of the water the roots can suffocate and then rot. Try watering less frequently and you should see an improvement later this summer. The yellowing needles will never turn green again but you should see some healthy new growth being produced. Best wishes with your mugo pine.
