Bedding begonias can handle 2-6 hours of sunshine a day, depending upon the cultivar. They prefer morning sun with protection from hot afternoon sunshine but I've found that if you keep them well watered they will tolerate afternoon summer sunshine, as well. Good luck with your plants!
