Seattle, Wa
Why are leaves of my emerald green turning brown (in this heat) July in Seattle? Trees were planted about 2 months ago. The side facing the west is getting a number of brown leaves. |

Sounds like heat stress/sunscald to me. Newly planted landscape shrubs can take several months to fully establish. Until they adjust to their planting sites you are likely to see some damage. I'd just give the plant some time to establish. Early next spring you can shear off the damaged foliage and healthy new growth should takes its place. Best wishes with your landscape. |
