|I have a beautiful hibiscus i wintered in my home. It is outside in afternoon sun and is lovely but has not bloomed yet. I gave it miracle gro but I was wondering what else would help it produce buds.
|I know it's frustrating when a hibiscus won't bloom but yours is waiting for just the right growing conditions. They like bright sun and warm temperatures, but when it gets too hot they will stop blooming. It usually takes 3 weeks of pleasant, warm weather for them to produce flower buds, but they will suspend production if it gets too hot. All you can do is wait for the right conditions and your hibiscus will reward you with lovely flowers. Sorry, there's really nothing you can do to promote flowering.
