we have a small lemon tree that is about 3-4 years old. this is the first year we have seen lemons start to grow-they are still tiny-how long til they are fully grown? The leaves are sometimes crinkled-does this mean it needs more water?

Crinkled leaves can be due to growing conditions or might be the result of insects feeding on the leaves as they begin to emerge. The leaves will still do their jobs so you don't need to remove them or treat them with anything. They may straighten out as they mature. Lemons can take 6-9 months to mature so you probably won't harvest until about January. Enjoy!
