I have a 3/4 acre yard so I don't water my lawn. I'm getting brown patches all over the place and I can pull the grass out very easily. Do you think it is grubs because I have a lot of japanese beatles eating my plants.
What can I do now and also what should I do next year to control this?

If there are no roots attached to the lawn, I'd suspect grubs have been feeding on the roots. Bayer Advanced Season Long Grub Control or Grubex applied now should take care of the grubs - and next year's population of Japanese Beetles. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Good luck with your lawn.
