Stella's are supposed to bloom all summer. Mine only seem to bloom one time. Is there something I need to do to keep them blooming?

If you prune off the flower stem after all the flowers are faded your daylilies should produce more flowering stalks all summer long. If your plants are overcrowded and competing for moisture and nutrients, that can keep them from blooming. If so, dig and divide your plants this fall. If your plants are not overcrowded they may simply need feeding. Use a foliar spray for almost instant results or use a granular bloom booster type fertilizer, according to label directions. Hope this prompts some additional flowers for you this summer!
