Summer applications of fertilizer can burn your lawn when temperatures are high so I agree with your concerns. However, organic fertilizers are naturally slow-release, and they are much less likely to burn your lawn (or pollute the environment) than chemical fertilizers. Look for Scott's Organic Lawn Fertilizer or similar products and apply according to label directions. It will feed your lawn but won't cause burning. Best wishes with your lawn! |
