Yellow Ixora is native to tropical areas in Asia, especially India, ixora now grows commonly in tropical climates in the USA. It will grow in full sun to part shade and likes rich, well draining soils. It can grow 6-8 feet tall and 3' wide so be sure to give it plenty of room in your garden. There are dwarf varieties that grow half that size so try to determine whether or not yours is a dwarf variety so you'll know how much room it will need in your garden. It is evergreen and grows into a mounded shape without any pruning or training. Hope this information is helpful.
