I have a chilean mesquite whose leaves are turning yellow. I'm not for sure how much to water them in AZ hot weather so what is the rule. Also, is the chilean needing some type of fertilizer or something else. It's giving off a lot of sap and it gets watered every 2 days.

It is normal for a mesquite to bleed from pruning cuts, injuries or stress cracks. It may be worse when the tree does not get adequate water. Check out this site for proper irrigation:
