Hello. I have a rose bush that is not flowering. I don't know the name of the rose since it is old. The rose did give flowers and now they stopped. They were pruned and are still watered. Any ideas what is wrong and what I can do?

Some roses bloom only once a year and others are repeat bloomers and provide bursts of color all summer long. Yours may be a once blooming rose. As long as it is otherwise healthy and is putting out new growth, it's nothing to be concerned about. There's nothing you can do to make a once blooming rose bloom throughout the summer months. If you know your rose is a repeat bloomer, it will eventually flower again, when the weather suits it. Hope this sheds some light on the subject!
