Do Shasta Daisies grow in mounds? Do they have to be in full sun? Thank you

Shasta daisies will bloom best if they get at least 6 hours of sun a day. Less sun than that and they probably won't bloom well. Shastas grow in an ever-expanding mound. A few years after planting the center of the plant will die down but the outer perimeter will remain healthy and will continue to expand. At that time you can dig and divide the plant into lots of new plants. Hope this answers your question.
