I have several day lilly plants which have already bloomed once. I have lots of buds remaining, but they bloom. I have the variety that is supposed to bloom all summer. What is wrong???

Once the flowers are spent, prune off the flower stems and new ones will develop. As soon as the plants have enough stored energy in the roots, the flowers will open. If the flower buds are just sitting there, and if the plants are in full sunshine and are getting adequate water, they may need a dose of fertilizer. I'd use a bloom booster type fertilizer, in amounts as listed on the label. Hope this helps!
