Depending upon the brand of grub killer you purchased, you may need to wait until late July to mid-August to apply the product. That's when the grubs are closest to the soil surface and are actively feeding which makes them most susceptible to the grub killer. The majority of the year they are deep within the soil and not as susceptible. However, there are some brands, such as Bayer Advanced Season Long Grub killer that can be applied at any time. So, check the label. If it doesn't say you can apply it at any time, wait another 2 weeks and then apply. Good luck with your eradication project!
