Name of Ornamental Pepper - Knowledgebase Question

I have been growing this pepper for years and don't know the name. I purchased some plants a couple of years ago from a farmer who called them Italian dynamite. The bush stands about 18 inches and about two feet across. It produces a pepper that is about an inch long and about a half inch wide. They range in color fom green, to yellow, to purple, to orange, to red. When the bush is in bloom it will look like it is ready to put out for Christmas. The peppers are as hot as anything I've ever tasted. I've never had to plant seeds because the peppers that drop to the ground send up seedlings which I just thin out the following year. I just would like to know their name. Thank you for your help and thank you for continuing to put out a superior product.

What a wonderful plant! Ornamental peppers are becoming increasingly popular and there are any number of them available with more being added every year. All in all there are hundreds (or possibly thousands) of varieties of peppers, many selected and nurtured by gardeners over the years and passed along or purchased much the way you obtained yours. To be honest I would say a reasonable name for your pepper is "Italian Dynamite" since that is the name it came to you with. Enjoy your plant!
