I cleared my front yard of weeds (clover like with bulbs). I planted my annuals. When do I apply the Preen to prevent the weeds to show up? Will it not kill my annuals that I just planted? Thank you.

Preen is a pre emergent that will keep weed seeds from germinating but it should not hurt plants with established roots. The Preen label will explain any cautions about using it near especially sensitive annuals so follow label cautions. I use it in my mixed perennial and annual beds and haven't had problems, but your mileage may vary. The label is your best source of information for using the product. Enjoy your new garden!
