I have two Arizona Cypress trees that have grown over six feet tall, however, the branches are not growing in width and I'm wondering why....My sister who lives in the high desert (apple valley,Ca) has Azizona Cypress and are growing beautifully and are shape like Xmas trees.....I live in Pomona,ca and my trees are very skinny...why?

I don't think there's any explanation other than growing conditions. Arizona cypresses are rather tall and narrow and only slightly pyramidal in shape. If yours are growing differently than hers did/do it could be due to soil conditions or to your slightly shorter, cooler summer growing season. Wish I had a real explanation for you!
