have a 5 yr old gaura that has 12 to 14 inches of leafless branches from the root-- outer 10 inches have leaves and blooms. Can I prune it back to make it pretty again. |
Guara can be pruned back in mid-summer to renew the plant and encourage healthy new growth and more flowers. Go ahead and prune yours back and it should respond with lots of new growth. Enjoy your garden! |
