Fruitland Park, Fl
|I'm think of planting African Iris under a small oak tree which still gets a lot of sun. I'd like to know if this plant will survive there and what do I fertilize it with?

|African Iris is hardy in Florida. It grows and flowers best in full sunshine and as long as the area gets lots of sun it should be fine. As a rule these plants do not need to be fertilized but you can feed it each spring with a general purpose garden fertilizer such as a 10-10-10.
