Lawn service planted poor st augustine sod in shaded yard. Have been watering & is growing but doesn't look healthy. Fertilize? Have been watering/raining everyday. What to do to make healthy before fall.

St. Augustine will green up if you feed it, but fertilizer can burn the lawn when applied in the summertime. You might try a Turfbuilder with Summerguard. Applied according to label directions it should not burn your lawn, even in the summertime. Best wishes with your lawn.
