i planted cantaloupe seed last year and they were very sweet, planted same seed this year same way same place and they do not have much flavor. What should I do next year? Thank You.

It sounds like you may be picking them a little early. I would recommend that you wait until the webbing is really pronounced, the fruit should have a hollow sound when you thump it with your finger. Also, it should smell really sweet. What I do when I pick mine from the vine is to allow it to sit in the sun for one or two days. This will concentrate the sugars and the taste is phenominal. I hope you have similar results!
