We planted two pumpkin plants this May, and although the plants look healthy and have multiple yellow flowers we still have no pumpkins growing! Is this normal for late July?? Thank you.

It's not at all normal, since pumpkins can take over 60 days to mature. The problem with low fruit set may be lack of pollination. If your patch isn't visited by honeybees or wild pollinators such as bumblebees, the pollen probably isn't making it from male to female flowers. You can help things along by visiting each open flower with a cotton swab or a small paintbrush. Hope you get some fruits soon!
