Hello -

My potato plants look very healthy but their leaves are almost entirely marked by very small holes. It looks like it could be some sort of mite but after extensive inspection I can't find any insects that look like the culprit. Thoughts? Solutions?
Thanks
Paul

The problem is most likely flea beetles. In general they won't cause extensive harm to your plants unless the population gets large. If so, you can control them with a pyrethrum based insecticide such as Bonide Liquid Rotenone/Pyrethrin Spray. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Hope you have a great harvest!
