Hello - My potato plants look very healthy but their leaves are almost entirely marked by very small holes. It looks like it could be some sort of mite but after extensive inspection I can't find any insects that look like the culprit. Thoughts? Solutions? Thanks Paul |
The problem is most likely flea beetles. In general they won't cause extensive harm to your plants unless the population gets large. If so, you can control them with a pyrethrum based insecticide such as Bonide Liquid Rotenone/Pyrethrin Spray. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Hope you have a great harvest! |
