I purchased several geraniums that all had lovely full color flowers. They each have loss their flowers, yet I see a neighbors geranium that still has full colorful blooms. My flowers are in containers, how can I get them to have longer lasting blooms.

You can encourage lots of flowers on your geraniums if you pinch off the spent flowers and if you pinch out the stem tips on a regular basis. Pinching back the stem tips will force new (flowering) growth towards the center of the plant. I'm sure yours will bloom again in a few weeks. Enjoy!
