I live in the Kansas City area. I planted a Hydrangea in full sun. Some of the leaves on the flowers are dried / burnt. Should I move this plant? |
Although the plant tags usually indicate full sunshine for hydrangeas, I find that the leaves will burn, as yours did, and that the entire plant can wilt when hit with hot summer sunshine. While the burned leaves on the plant won't harm its overall health, it sure doesn't look very attractive! I'd move the plant to a spot that receives 4 hours of morning sun but shade from hot afternoon sunshine. |
