It's usually an sign of sunscald but there's a possibility that it's damage from a stink bug. A tiny hole in the skin of the fruit (check with a magnifying glass) made by a stink bug can turn a small spot of the fruit yellow. Just cut away the damaged part before eating the tomato. The tomatoes will still tasty so it's nothing to worry about.
