| We live in MN. and have a Northern Redbud tree, but don't know the age of it. It is only about 15 feet tall now- will it get bigger? We also noticed that the bark is peeling away from the tree at the base up to about 12 inches. Is this serious? Thanks, Julie |
| Shedding or peeling bark is normal for a redbud so I don't think it is anything to be concerned about, especially if it is putting out healthy new growth. Redbuds can reach 15-25' in height so I think yours will get larger as it ages. Enjoy your garden! |
