New Smyrna Beach, Fl
We have a spphire shower that is blooming well and is 4ft tall. We would like it to continue to grow into a tree and not revert to a bush as our last one did. It has 2 branches growing out the sides but no top growth. please advise. Thanks |

Your Sapphire Showers wants to be a large shrub and not a tree so you'll need to prune and train it into a single trunked plant. Shorten both the branches and some of the top to encourage new growth. As the top begins growing, prune the branches back again. Eventually you'll be able to remove the lower branches as the top elongates and becomes a canopy. Hope this clarifies things for you~ |
