What is the best way to store seeds? Should they be kept in the refrigerator, or is the ambient temperature cool enough.

Don't put them in the refrigerator - ambient cool temperatures are just fine. Heat, light and moisture are the enemies of seeds so store them in a glass jar with a screw-top lid, and set the jar on the floor of a seldom used closet or in a drawer. Be sure to make a note on your calendar so you know when to plant them (and where you've hidden them!). Best wishes with your garden.
