|when do I take my banana plants in for the winter and do I leave the babies attached to the mother or can I take and seperate them and if so wil the mama plant grow back

|Banana plants are tropical in nature so you'll want to take them indoors before nighttime temperatures drop below 50F degrees. When the babies develop roots of their own you can safely separate them and plant them into their own containers. The mother plant should continue to grow - and to produce new babies.
