|I have received your email and want to know can I remove the babies from the mother banana plants when I dig them up for the winter or remove them before I plant them back in the ground next year. Because the person that gave me this plant said that I have to wait till next year to take the babies off the mother or the mother plant wont grow is that true

|The pups or baby plants should not be removed until they have developed roots of their own. If you do not see any roots developing, don't remove the baby plants. Your friend sounds like they know what they are talking about so follow their advice and your plant should be just fine.
