|We have 3 boganvillas and something is eating the leaves. I noticed a small what looked like a spider on one leaf w/parts of the web. What do you suggest I do? We have about 10 others & they're okay. I've never seen any thing like it.

|I don't think a spider will damage the leaves on your bougainvillea. Spiders prey on other insects - they don't eat leaves. However, there is a caterpillar that loves to feed on the leaves of bougainvillea, called the bougainvillea looper. You can control these pests with a product called Dipel or Thuricide. It targets only caterpillars and is quite efficient at controlling them. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Best wishes with your bougainvilleas!
