We just purchased the 3 gal. Red Tip and the leaves have developed brown spots. What do you suggest?

Fraser photinia (Redtips) can be very susceptible to fungal leaf spots. Since this is a fungal disorder which enters the plant through young leaves, the best control is prevention. At this point you can prune off the affected leaves/branches. Pruning will encourage new growth towards the center of the plants, which will help make them look full and healthy. When the new red growth appears in the spring, spray with a fungicide and apply per package directions until the foliage has matured. Be sure to spray ALL new leaves as they appear to help protect them from the fungal spots next year.
