should I let my tomatoe plants continue to grow this late in the season or plant new ones mid-august? Jacksonville, FL

In frost free areas tomato plants can grow and produce for 2-3 years so as long as you have room to allow your existing plants to grow (they flower on new growth), you can leave them in. With a large, established root system, they should flower and fruit for you for several more months. Hope you have a great harvest!
