carrot greens are over 1 ft tall, but carrots are only about 2 inches. should i trim the greens, thanks

I know it's tempting to prune the tops back but the foliage is manufacturing and transporting carbohydrates to the roots and will result in larger, sweeter carrots. Just continue giving them good care and eventually the roots will grow to harvestable size. Enjoy!
