I planted one of each of these this year. At what point do I cut them down. They both have stopped blooming. They both now look like sticks, no leaves. I kept them watered. They did really well til a few weeks ago. What do I do now? and will they come back next year. They both were beautiful. Thanks Monica

Without leaves, the stalks are really doing anything for the roots of your plants so you can safely cut the old flowering stalks down. Your plants will resprout next spring and flower again for you. Enjoy your garden.
