Yellowing leaves with black spots sounds like a fungal disease of some sort. Be sure to keep water off the foliage when you water, and water early in the day so the foliage can dry out before nightfall. If only a few leaves are affected you can prune them off so the fungal spores don't have a chance to splash or blow onto the healthy leaves. You might also try using a garden fungicide to protect the rest of the plant. Hope you've caught it in time!
