Everyday, only during daylight hours, there is a host of snails attached to the block wall that borders the grass in my backyard. I have had an exterminator come out to exterminate, but the snails still reappear. They are only visible during the daylight, clinging to the wall. How do I eliminate the problem, short of physically removing them from the wall? Thank you.

Brown garden snails can be controlled with the iron based product called Sluggo. Snails feed on it, then go away and die. It is harmless to people, pets and wildlife and any that is not consumed breaks down into simple iron, which is good for the soil. Sprinkle the bait beneath the block wall and it should control them.
