|Part of my front lawn has turned brown - we are watering regularly - However our lawn guy told us to cut it shorter recently. Only part of the lawn has turned brown. What is it?

|I'm not sure why you were advised to cut the lawn short in the summertime. Usually we mow the lawn higher to help protect the crowns of the plants from sunburn and to help the soil maintain moisture. If you've scalped your lawn by mowing low, it may not recover until this fall. Wish I had a solution for you!
