|The critter could be anything from a ground squirrel to a rabbit to a groundhog or gopher. I just don't know. You can try filling in the hole to see if it returns. As long as you don't use poisons to try to control whatever is growing in the hole, your vegetables will be safe to eat. Hope you figure out what it is!
