|The Blaze Climbing Rose is one of the hardiest roses and will not need winter protection in zones 5-9. Your zip code places you in USDA zone 5 so you should not have to do anything at all to winterize your rose. In the spring you can prune away any winter damage. Blaze is a vigorously growing climber and will replace any winter kill in a few short weeks. Enjoy your rose!
