I planted astilbe on the north side of my house. It is doing great as is the sweet woodruff. Will the sweet woodruff kill the astilbe? |
Sweet woodruff makes a nice groundcover and it should not harm your Astilbes. It will simply root where the astilbes are not already rooted. I have a similar combination in my landscape and both plants seem to be thriving. I'd just leave them alone - they should make good garden companions. |
