I purchased a self fertilizing cherry tree in april. its in a pot that gets 6 hours of sun. i water it about twice a week. it has dropped all its leaves and has not flowered. is this normal? |
Cherry trees flower in late winter or early spring so you won't see any flowers for the rest of this growing season. It should get 6-8 hours of direct sunshine and it should be watered once or twice a week. Too much water, or soil that remains too wet can actually suffocate the roots. Try cutting back on your watering and with any luck your tree will recover. Hope so! |
