Double Pink Knockout Rose is fragrant. As long as the site gets at least 6 hours of sunshine, you can plant it on the north side of your home. Knockout roses need excellent drainage, which is what your sandy soil can provide but in sandy soils you'll need to feed your roses every 6 weeks during the growing season. Aside from regular feeding and watering, your new rose shouldn't require any special care. Enjoy!
