|I cannot place seedlings outdoors until June 1 because of frost. I want to know how early I can start my seeds indoors. The directions on the package say 8-6 weeks before outdoor planting. Is it safe to plant them earlier, or will I be doing the plant more harm than good? I'm really eager to get a jump on the season.|
|You can start seeds a bit earlier and then plan on moving them into larger pots as you approach the outdoor planting date. This keeps from stunting or stressing them and allows you to put a larger, more mature plant in the ground.
Good luck with your garden!
