I live in the Raleigh area and have a 3 year old sweet bay magnolia that has never bloomed. It is healthy and has grown each year but has never bloomed. It receives full sun and was planted exactly per directions. Will it ever bloom?

Sweet Bay Magnolias are perfectly suited for your growing region. They love acidic soil and summer humidity so yours should thrive. If it is not blooming, it's probably just too young. Give it another year or two and I think you'll see lots of flowers. I know it's difficult to keep waiting and waiting, but eventually you'll be rewarded with those lovely flowers. Enjoy!
