Mandevilla is frost sensitive so the best way to keep yours healthy all year around is to keep it in a container and move it indoors in the fall when the weather starts to get cold. You can prune your plant back and keep it in a brightly lit location indoors, taking it out again in the spring when the weather warms up. If it is in just the right location indoors, it may even flower during the winter months. Enjoy!
