Bougainvilleas bloom on about a 6 week cycle. They grow, flower, rest then grow and flower again. If all the flowers fell off suddenly, it could indicate a water stress problem. Check to make sure the leaves look healthy and that there are new flowers forming. If not, prune the stems back a little. This will sometimes keep the plant from resting between bloom cycles and will result in more flowers in a shorter length of time.
