Fig tree soil - Knowledgebase Question

Thks for the info of taking care of my fig tree.One other question.The soil here is dusty and dry.Is there a certain kind of soil to use or recommed that I can buy thru Home Depot?If not what,can I combined together for correct soil?

Fig trees are not picky about soil, as long as it drains well. They love your climate - hot and dry. You only need to plant your tree in your native soil (no amendments necessary) and water it deeply twice a week during the hottest months; once a week the rest of the year.
