Thks for the info of taking care of my fig tree. One other question. The soil here is dusty and dry.Is there a certain kind of soil to use or recommed that I can buy thru Home Depot? If not what, can I combined together for correct soil? |
Fig trees are not picky about soil, as long as it drains well. They love your climate - hot and dry. You only need to plant your tree in your native soil (no amendments necessary) and water it deeply twice a week during the hottest months; once a week the rest of the year. Best wishes with your fig tree! |
