I am growing watermelon for the first time and 2 out of 3 of them have a split.
Can you help me save the last one?

The cause of the spliting is that your melons are absorbing too much water. What happens is that the rind is hard and cannot expand but the internal tissues are absorbing moisture and the pressure causes the rinds to split. Heavy rains, or excessive water from the hose, can cause the flesh to swell and the rinds to split, just as the melons are reaching maturity. You can try watering less frequently and that might save your remaining melon. Hope you can save it!
